I don’t really see a problem with retiring the leaderboard. If you want the peen that bad, stick around until Episode 3 when the cap is taken off and you’ve got a much better shot at earning it – and this time it’ll be honestly won, rather than a global tie. |

Evil Trout said in the Cred Cap thread (I think) that the cap is in place to ensure people start Episode 3 on equal ground stat-wise. If a different gain method is to be used for levels in Episode 3, there’s no point to capping cred, just to capping levels like at the end of Episode 1. |

Normally I’d agree, but this isn’t an e-peen for the Level Cap, it’s an e-peen for a leaderboard. Leaderboards aren’t supposed to be equal opportunity, anyway, and they never have been. Clbum, date joined, forums unlocked, and even luck/game bugs have always played a role in excluding people from leaderboard e-peens. The fact that a game quirk has made it easy for a great deal of us to get the e-peen doesn’t change that.
Anyone (other than Re-Res) who has sacrificed months of effort should be able to pull this off in the next couple days, and if you ARE a Re-Re you never had a chance at the top anyway. Any person who doesn’t have Episode 2 might find this tricky, but if you sacrificed months of effort but don’t want to spend ten dollars on the biggest content update the site has ever had… well, that’s just wacky. |

Remove the cred cap. Then, the Most Cred leaderboard becomes exactly what it was before, and make Ep3 nuke us back to 100Mil.
Makes sense. |

If it will be retired forever (not just until ep. 3) then announcing the date and giving people who will be at cap level in a few days the chance to reach it is reasonable. Those that have grinded for months are close anyway or just reached the cred cap. |

got it today. grinding for the DML was ok, grinding praypal with it was fun, but doing faux news for months was hard work only. I’m glad it wasn’t retired too early |
