As of the start of SEASON 3 tonight @ 9pm EST all forums will have Lemon Scoops bumociated to them automatically. The speedrun times will automatically be set and adjusted going forward.

All Lemon times are now automated. It’s based on a geometric mean of the times in the previous interval (1 week now, but will grow to 4 weeks over the next month.)
Also, we’ve reset all the speed run leaderboards to reflect the new times. |

Lots of easy lemon for a while, as the speedrun times will be based on when the server was particularly laggy + people are actually reading the new content. |

This may be true, but it’s now a moving target, since the leaderboards and the times don’t last long. It should even out after a while regardless of any tweaks we do to balance. |

Does this mean that the forums currently without speedrun times will be added to Herschel Jewstein’s Kosher Crazy Careers? Currently only speedrunnable forums have appeared for me there.

So, I take it from this point forwards, anyone scripting speedruns (or using some other cheating method to get low times) is going to be banned from all competition, and their speedruns deleted? With this system, if players are getting consistently above optimal times, it’s going to eventually affect everyone elses ability to earn lemon scoops. |
