New TurkeyOk, I got my E-Peen for being a nice guy… which now means my alignment is not perfectly neutral any more Log in to see images!
Anyone know something I can do to earn 2 ‘evil’ points, quick?
I would also like to add that buying 2 turkeys did not give me the option to get two E-Peens (and keep my alignment neutral, like I was hoping.) (view post) |

Web SpidersJoseph of Suburbia Posted: Yeah! It could just increase Luck or something, the stat related to finding moar files… hell, I would settle for one with a cooler picture that does the same thing. Yeah cute spiders! Log in to see images! Or cool spiders! Log in to see images! Course, if I had my druthers, I would say one that let you pick between two moar files on each forum. So you still only get one, but its the one you want, or want ‘moar’ anyway. But, yeah, just one with a cooler picture and nothing else would be fine! (and much easier to code I would imagine) (view post) |

An open letter to my beloved Moderation staffHobart Bliggity Posted: They have to take you seriously. You’re a paying customer. Unless, as I hinted in my troll post, they never take you seriously, they’re going to have to take you seriously when you… act serious. This is the internet, there is no real way to tell if your really bumhurt or if your just messing around. If you complaint is a “real” one it should be addressed officially, if its not, it should not be, but there is no way of knowing. People could make educated guesses, but that’s it. Additionally, the mods more or less have to respond to your “serious” post seriously. If the Mods responded to your “serious” post with “lol bumhurt” other new players that don’t know what’s going on would be frightened away. An argument could be made that “n00bs” like that should not be playing this game anyway, but they to are potential paying customers. The ‘job’ of the Moderator staff is to maximums the number of paying customers. (I say ‘job’ because they are volunteers) You can make that ‘job’ as hard as you want, like I could go into McDonald’s and harbum the workers if I want, but at the end of the day, that’s what your doing. An open letter to my beloved Moderation staffI can’t believe people are talking this seriously. The only way Hobart Q Bliggity really means what he says in the OP (or any post he made on this thread) is if he has NO sense of humor. Does anyone here really think that our Hobart Q Bliggity is devoid of a sense of humor? Com’on!Anyone with any sense reading the edited post anyone would know it had been edited. Hobart Q Bliggity is just trolling the staff and pretending to be bumhurt. (view post) |

There should be an E-Peen for toping the E-Peen Leaderboardscully Posted: Well, by “new players” I really meant ‘non-you’ players. You’ve been at the top of that leaderboard for a long long time. And the gap between 1st and 2nd is pretty big. Lets face it, most likely one of the reasons many player’s aren’t trying to top any leaderboards, is they can’t. Hypothetically, I could play this game hours a day, every day, and I still could not top the leaderboard, or the E-Peen leaderboard, and it would not be because I was not trying as hard as others, or because I’m not as good a player as others. (again, hypothetically Log in to see images! Its because its IMPOSSIBLE to get some of the E-Peens. In other words, I would need a time machine to bet you, scully.
The leaders on the leaderboards are too far ahead of everyone. I think the gap should be smaller to give people the illusion that they could top it. IMO, any game that is set up so ‘new’ players simply can’t win no matter how much time they put in over an extended period of time, is flawed. I am guessing its also one of the reasons people aren’t trying as hard as they could be. Why bother trying if you can’t? Now, I’m not saying I want to top any leaderboards today or tomorrow, but I would like to at least THINK that if I played this game for a year or two I could. That it’s possible. ATM, I don’t think I could. ‘Course, that could be because of my lack of understanding.
(Additionally, this post sounds too serous as I’m reading it over. Its not mean to be. I’m not planning on personally putting in hours a day at this game for years on end one way or another. I’m really just writing this to understand the leaderboard system better and to see if it something I should be ‘shooting for’ or if I should just forget it now, and not bother.) (view post) |

There should be an E-Peen for toping the E-Peen LeaderboardWell, scully, I would think your thoughts on this would be most useful, since this would effect you the most. (and you also clearly know the most about E-Peens) man-man Posted:I feel there would be a ‘middle ground’ reduction. A number that would both make the leaderboard competitive, but would not be a Bobbitt. Something >2, but <50% man-man Posted:Well, there could be another fix in a few years when this happens again. (which, of course, it would)
But, perhaps scully is right and nobody really cares. Its not like I’m bucking for the top any time soon. It was just an idea that struck me. If topping the leaderboards for the first time incurred a penalty it would be easier for new players to top them. And: scully Posted:was a reason as well Log in to see images! (view post) |

There should be an E-Peen for toping the E-Peen LeaderboardThe idea would be that it would make it so the person at the top would have a smaller E-Peen. Instead of having to get a E-Peen of 28<, which is more or less impossible because lots of E-Peens you can’t get any more, you would have to get a E-Peen of (28-X)< whatever X was. If X = 2, it would cycle through the top three. If X was 50% of your current E-Peen, it would cycle through many more.
The point being, however, that at the moment, its not cycling at all. You would have to get E-Peens you CAN’T get to make it to the top. Making it impossible, and static.
And I do find the argument “It will not change because it would change and then be the same again, only lower.” To not make any sense at all. Maybe someone could explain to me how making it POSSIBLE to get to the top is “no change” from the current situation. ‘Cuz I don’t get it. Log in to see images! (view post) |

Applying a negative length would get the top person “out of the way” and allow someone else to win it the next day. It would make that leader board more dynamic, and less static. (view post) |

My horrible spelling aside, like any other E-Peen, you could only get it once. So, at some point, you would have someone that already got it as #1, and they would not then get it again. (view post) |
