So saying no one will ever run those is a fallacy. That’s blatantly false. In either of those situations your best source of income is from deploying code, which will give you more than enough income. 	Your predictions for what Balancebot will find Strange. I started a troll, a re-re, and an emo all at the same time. The troll and emo actually hit level 10 on the same day. The re-re was significantly later. I predict that balancebot will discover that the clbumes are perfectly balanced, except that trolls need some sort of mechanic to hasten the rate at which they kill forums (which will also decrease their dependence on consumables.) 	Forumbuildr Voting Big Brother Posted: I know that this is a bump, but this needs to be brought back. A new method of voting is certainly needed to avoid Faux News crap. My proposal:You may either upvote something, pbum it, or report as crap. Reporting as crap does not effect votes. You must submit a reason that it is crap. A mod or amdin will check ideas called crap and delete them if they are. For instance, an idea called “agdagetawerawre” or “Upvote this please” would be called crap and deleted. Additionally, something is deleted if it does not recieve at least one upvote in a time period. I like how your proposal has nothing to do with Faux News, or anything at all. Gibberish ideas don’t get upvoted. What really needs to be fixed is organized voting. Like at the start of last forumbuildr round, every forum submitted was being downvoted. It took out Alcoholics Unanimous, as well as every other idea that was carried over or submitted. I amused myself by refreshing the view voted by score page. 0, -1, -2, -3, -4… there was not a single idea that I saw get as high of a score as 2. (view post)	06/16/2008

Two hours isn’t enough to get through a raid anymore. We have 36 forums now and turnover is horribly slow if you let it happen naturally. With just 5 raiders with 12 visits, it’s rare to run out of visits in a single 2 hour raid block. Well, let’s be fair. Even right now, there’s a lot of fast turn-overs. I really like Scully’s idea of needing to control at least one of the forums in order to gain scoops from it. That idea deserves more merit, imo. It seems like the main problem is with huge Klans who have a large pool of visits, so a limit of somewhere between 10-20 participants would limit an astronomical yield (though still allow for considerable amounts with efficient leadership). While raids could still be conducted back to back, visit-less participants would be far less welcome as they would take up valuable slots, solving the problem of members racking up tons of scoops without using a single visit. That wouldn’t help. Brainfreeze doesn’t typically have more than 20 people in a raid at the same time… but over 10 hours and 5 raids, that’s up to 100 people. (view post)	06/16/2008
