I’d be interested to see what might happen if forum ideas were given -10 instead of the usual -5. I’m sure a lot of stuff would still get murderfaced, but it might salvage a few decent ones that died untimely deaths.

I don’t particularly expect more out of the quality of the average post, but at least it’ll be more fun. >.>

buildr score?

I’m curious about how the hell your buildr score is actually calculated. I didn’t have anything accepted into HowStuffBreaks, but my score went up by 2. On weeks where I had 2-3 things make it in, my score went down.

Does it just total your up and downvotes, or something like that?

How many people a day do you think the game loses due to the lack of content? How many of you are considering leaving due to just a lack of anything to do?

How many people would leave as a result of domination being not quite fair? I look around and see maybe a couple hundred hardcore dom players, and I doubt that you’d all up and leave if the medals weren’t fair for another week or two.

I can’t really speak for everyone, but:

Domination pretty much *is* the endgame. It’s an interesting PvP system, and it’s been a lot of fun. A month or so ago I would have made a case for Forumbuildr, but that’s restricted to so many entries per week now. You can also say Flamebate, since the RP forums are basically their own game.

That said, I up and left for a few weeks when Vanilla was completely wonky. I could *almost* keep up, but it wasn’t really worth the amount of time I’d need to spend on Gamblebot to do so. If this sort of thing stuck around, I’m fairly certain that it *would* **** people off into wandering off.

Content should definitely take the front seat, but that doesn’t mean that Domination should take a total backseat – it’s the main part of the game keeping people around. Delicate balance and all. Make new friends, keep the old, one is silver, etc. etc. Let it ride shotgun or something.

My four shields went completely unused. I was worried that four weren’t enough.

It’ll be interesting trying to gauge how many is enough many in more competitive brackets.

That sounds a little better. Still, I seriously doubt a Troll (and maybe not an Emo, I got bored with my Emo alt halfway through the game) would be able to collect on the 20 and 24 ones.

Eh… favorite for Gameplay is probably Blissey. Chansey was one of my first level 100’s back in Red/Blue, and it was one of the first I remade when the new gen hit. It’s a shame that ****ing everyone uses the thing, though… Used to get a “Weird, you’re using Chansey?” and now I get a “****, another Blissey?”

At least I use a weird-ish moveset.

Favorite for favoritism’s sake is Psyduck. Gotta love Psyduck.

Disgraceful Final Smashes? Peach. I mean, come on, she’s just…very special.

I kind of like Peach’s. She was always my mainstay character in Melee, and it fits her dodge ‘n’ poke strategy pretty well. It’s nothing as stupidly damaging as a few of the others, but it can result in KO’ing everyone else if you get it off right.

Also, why the hell would you put TWO Nesses in a game? Ness is sucky enough without needing a clone.

Meh. I always felt the same way about Fox and Captain Falcon. Not that they suck (since damn near everyone would disagree with that), but that the game doesn’t need two or three of them. Truthfully, I’ve been liking Lucas a bit more than Ness, but I still suck gorillas with both of them.

Also, Sonic is fun as hell, and the song from Sonic CD still makes me **** from laughing too hard. I need to do laundry.

Apparently Kojima begged for Snake to be in the *last* one, it just didn’t happen.

I’ve pretty much given up on playing as Snake anyways… Never been a fan of projectile-based characters. His Final Smash is a ****ton of fun, though.
