THIS WEEK: Domination ChangesAlso, it should be noted that it’s entirely possible for raids to not go well. Things can happen and your plans can go down the drain if you raid at the wrong time of day and turnover is too much for you to handle (or somebody drops off or something else) and you can only end up with a few scoops. So unless you’re certain that you will get somewhere near the max scoops for the raid, why would you want to risk it and screw yourself over for the next three days? It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me that even if your raid gets zero scoops, you’re locked out the same as if you had gotten the maximum possible scoops. It’s sort of a “screw you for trying” message even if that’s not the intent. (view post) |

THIS WEEK: Domination ChangesBINGEBOT 2015 Posted: I think this is again making things excessively complicated in a way that doesn’t encourage anybody to raid. So if you run visits (for the job board, storyline, flezz, whatever), you need to be careful that you don’t accidentally hold 4 forums at once, else you’ll be locked out of raiding for the next 3 days? Requiring this much planning and preciseness about how visits are used just makes it a bigger pain than many people will want to deal with. Which is fine I guess, but doesn’t do much toward making raiding more accessible. (view post) |

Keeping track of what time which alt last joined a raid sounds like way more trouble than it’s worth to me. Everything else revolves around rollover, so more complicated scheduling just makes it less likely that people will be interested in raiding. (view post) |

InflationOh. Just when I’d finally made enough to afford the kidney. Well, just gotta keep grinding and I’ll get it eventually. But seriously, if you’re really high level (close to 30 or higher), you don’t need restoratives really and you can afford whatever equipment you want several times over, so this doesn’t really seem to affect anybody but the mid to low level people. Is the idea to slow people down or reduce the overall amount of flezz in the economy? Because it looks to me like once you get over the hump of needing to buy restores, you can just go back to acgreat timesulating tons of flezz. (view post) |
