The end time shouldn’t alternate so that every other week the minority from one country can sweep medals while everyone else is asleep. As things stand, EVERY week the minority from one country can sweep medals while everyone else is asleep. I guess you’re lucky that you happen to live in that one country. Shouldn’t everyone have the chance to win medals? A 4-weekly rotating end time would dovetail nicely with streaks. The first 2 weeks of your streak, you’re not going to be very competetive, so you work it that those 2 weeks coincide with the least favourable end times for you. Weeks 3 and 4 when you’ve got a shot at medaling, the round ends at a time that’s convenient for you. I live in Europe, but my schedule allows me to play at the end of the round, even though it’s in the middle of the night here. So although I personally wouldn’t gain an advantage with a rotating end time, I’m all in favour of broadening the competition by making it more accessible to everyone. (view post)	08/16/2009

	How to report an exploit Evil Trout Posted: Okay guys, there is some confusion so I’m going to clear up how to PROPERLY report an exploit. 1) Find a bug 2) Reproduce it to determine the details (especially good if you do it on the test server.) 3) Report it to Evil Trout privately. 4) Get your klan together, exploit the previously reported bug. Brag about it, admit to cheating several times. 5) Get Haxxploitation E-Peen. Oh ****, maybe 4 shouldn’t be on there! You found an exploit and abused it to make raiding worthwhile; that, in my opinion, labels you a cheater more quickly than the peen-stripping did. Not so arrogant now, are you? 	WeChall is really the elitest WeChall are all a bunch of cheating fabulous persons and should have all their medals stripped, and their internets taken away Log in to see images! If anyone actually gives a flying ****, here’s what really happened: A while ago, some keen-eyed raiders noticed that we were periodically awarded mysterious bonus vanilla scoops. For weeks, it was bumumed that these scoops were awarded when the raiding party held the same 12 forums for a certain amount of time. All in all, they didn’t add up to much, but we knew they were there, and figured that it was intentional. Finally, some experimentation was done, and we thought we had found out the cause. In order to find out if this really worked, we tried it aggressively for one raid. One raid. Then we reported it. Most of the people involved were regular raiders who give up 10 hours a week for klan raiding. Raiding twice a week, we sacrifice last minute pistachio, and 40-visit-rounds. If anyone is still reading at this point, I’d be curious to know exactly how many medals you think WeChall earned for no other reason than bug exploitation? I’ll go out on a limb here and tell you straight that we lost more due to last minute server lag than we gained from a single broken raid, but believe what you will. (view post)	06/26/2009
