IOWA was an amazing album, as was MFKR. Their last two albums sort of make me feel a bit lost; I don’t hear a lot of sampling or turntable work in their songs, and there’s a breakdown in the new album which I didn’t really get either… but think of it this way, they’re paid a lot more money than I am to make music a lot of people enjoy, so they must be doing something right.
