Congress: Bringing Kids Gross Lunches Since 1973School cafeteria menus may differ across the nation, but all the meals are fundamentally the same: Mystery meat, dollop of processed goop, carton of milk or sugar-y juice, and a side of soggy french fries. While the students, teachers, and curriculum in schools consistently change, cafeterias continue to dish out the same, abysmal lunches year after year.
The reason schools stay so loyal to their processed, frozen crap is that Congress hasn’t raised the federal reimbursement rate for school meals since 1973. But that could be about to change. The hearing to reauthorize the Child Nutrition Act began today. The bill being debated before the House Education and Labor Committee, the Improving Nutrition for America’s Children Act, is an $8 billion initiative designed to improve the accessibility and quality of school meals. The bill already has bipartisan support, and most folks expect it to pbum.
If pbumed, the bill would boost school meals’ accessibility, increasing the number of students enrolled in breakfast and lunch programs and creating more summer and after-school meal plans. It also aims to promote better quality and safety of lunches served. The bill even outlines plans for farm-to-school initiatives, which would help kids know where their food comes from and provide more fresh, healthy produce for cafeteria meals.

A little confusion about the Milky Was Wishes storyline...Which form was Marx originally, the little cute one or the one with the wings? I would think that he was the small one, but the menu screen says “Marx has shown his true form!” while you fight him. However, during the scene when he turns into Marx Soul, when you see him floating dead in space, he’s in his little form. So… was he originally that cute little dude or did he just turn into it to trick Kirby? Man… Am I over-thinking things, or what?! XD (view post) |

A fantasy nearly come true?I’m a pretty average joe guy, and I’m only 5’9”. I recently met this girl who drives me wild, and we got to talking and apparently I do the same to her. She’s a poet, and we talk philosphy a lot, but pretty much everything else under the sun as well, and we feel like we’ve known each other forever. I’m rather smitten with her. The part that relates to this forum? She’s a smidge over 6’4’’, slim and in great health, AND she likes to wear heels.

For the SW fans who dislike sm
Now, I’m not going to try to convert or criticize any of you, and I know that we all have our own turn-ons and turn-offs. But I’ve been curious for a while… I want to know why you guys dislike material involving smaller men.
My only guesses are because men are typically supposed to be the dominant sex, and removing that feature via shrinking goes against nature or whatever. Or that, since there are some females who dislike sm, they like to imagine themselves at the mercy of a much larger human (be it male or female), which isn’t possible if the smaller human is male. Am I close, or did I miss something? (And obviously, people could have different reasons than those two… or more than just those two.) (view post) |
