Going max Offense does work, albeit with smaller returns for Trolls. Our abilities lack the punch of Cam Whores, the scalability of Emo Kids and our base stat (sitting at 16 Defense right now without having spent a single point into it) could very well be considered useless. No, the analogy works perfectly with critical strikes, because with that kind of Offense function everyone would be forced to roll dice and desperately hope to pwn a thread before the backlash. 	Buff trolls! Of course Trolls are at a disadvantage, look at our main stat, Defense. Yay, a meager 1% damage-reduction per point spent and 1.5% chance to dodge. Relying on throwing dice is something I’d rather leave to my Pen&Paper-pals, not when deciding if my Troll can or cannot pwn a 6 bar forum with 5 Smileprin XR or 7, and lose 10 or 20% durability. People would surely be ****ed if Offense only gave a 1% attack damage increase per point and 1.5% to critically strike. (view post)	04/15/2008

Yeah, I’m sure speeding the harder forums will be harder until we get a better attack or two, but I don’t see where trolls need a lot of buffing. 	How to make a more powerful troll Tarman Posted: Oh, I’m sorry, I misunderstood. Defense right now definitely does not scale well. Going by the guesstimates in the Wiki, Defense scale is based on the item with the highest defense possible, which would be the Defaced Mona Lisa for 200k flezz (4 points in Frugality). 1 point base def, 5 points starter, 6 points from Upgrades, 40 through DML, around 52 points of Defense, meaning 52% damage-reduction and 78% evasion (should perhaps be capped at 75%, is there any troll here who’s got the fetish without cheating?). 	Discussion about Episode 2... 1338h4x Posted: Up the level cap, add more equipment, and balance things. If I’m at the highest level attainable, I shouldn’t have to struggle to get through quests. I’m not even going to bother with the nuclear forum until episode 2 comes out, unless ET decides to benevolently throw us underpowered trolls a bone now instead of having us wait for a higher level cap. Fellow Klansmen, you should have been able to tackle the nucular opschuion at level 9 with around 5-7 Smileprin XR and 2 Cocaine. Just sayin’. That said, I’d very much like to see the Defense stat changed to more of a stronger, dependable damage reduction than mainly wonky dodging.
