Ep.2 creating imbalance in the gameIt’s kind of weird to think about it this way, but in truth, being more efficient at pwning forums has a negligible effect on the truly competitive aspects of the game. There are the Cred and Flezz leaderboards, true, but almost everyone serious about competing there is sucked up into the game enough to *want* to pay for Episode 2.
The only way Episode 2 *really* effects competitive schemes is with raiding- in theory, people who could Episode 2 forums would have a serious edge over those that couldn’t. But if Episode 2 and 1 players get separated in dom, this isn’t really an issue. (view post) |

It’s not like it’s a continuous process where money can be turned into game advantage. You’re *supposed* to buy Episode 2. If you cant afford to pay for Episode 2 than you probably cant afford to waste your time on the competitive aspects of the game either… or shouldn’t, anyway. (view post) |

No, what I meant is that you don’t use it for making Flezz and Cred. If you already have the ePeen, you don’t just say “Say! I should pwn GFoC today, just for ****s and giggles!” Plenty of people COULD do that, but there’s no reason to do so because it isn’t profitable. And that’s the way it’s supposed to be.

ITT: I found a MisspellingNot really a misspelling so much as an inconsistency- normally all up Bruce’s ’s’ sounds are turned into ‘th’s, but in the corner of Bruce Bear’s Fix-All he adds “P.TH. I wasn’t kidding”. Even the S in PS is made into a TH, but not the s in “wasn’t”. Was this intentional, or not? (view post) |
