And we are now down the the final week of the contest. I’ve already begun sorting the entries, and I must say I’ve got quite a few people who have made it to the finals already. If you think you may not be one of them, feel free to post some new entries, and if you haven’t entered yet, feel free to post some entries as well.

Also, quite a few people ingnored rule three and posted entries in more than one post. There’s no stick up my bum right now, so no-one will be disqualified for it. The Dudette abides.

EDIT: Damn the English language for the words entries and entire, damn my spell-check as well.

So, yeah, I said in idc that I would take the rest of the day off and come back as soon as I was fully medicated, but I figured I’d compose my thoughts while I’m still mostly lucid and can post coherently.

Of course it sux… I was three days off my medication contempleting things that would only have been understood had you been there at the time. But on the bright side, when I came back I found I’d won a domination medal.

So, 1) Your zinger pretty much sums it up, Comic, and 2) maybe I should skip my medicine more often. I could torture everyone with hack poetry, take three days off, and then come back and be pleasently surprised in some way or another. Log in to see images!

We’re all all going to hell on a rail

I cry out “My brain was fuxxored!” to no avail

For inertia was inertia was inertia was not a falcon for the last two days

But we were so ****ing sure of ourselves as we speed-dialed the partyvan in our craze

They said he ****ed up the oath but I never bothered to listen

In my mind I count the dollars Inertia will ruefully be missin’

A toxx loophole

Running out of con-troll

Everybody bring your Nikons

Everybody disavow your icons

In this bumhat-filled armpit of the internet

And still my fuxxored brain won’t let me forget

Someday the flamewar will be over and the trolls will have won

And somebody’s Nikon may be exchanged for an unregistered gun

So why not wear tar and feathers as we ride our rails to hell?
