End it ?My life has reached a dead end. Re-re consideration for speedrun scoops?This is lame, re-res are re-res, you don’t GIVE them anything out of pity. Actually, any re-re getting scoops in the domination game should have their scoop amount automatically REDUCED by 1 or 2 scoops.
It’s not a curse being a re-re, nobody forced you to be one and you can change clbum any time you want, so if you want to be stronger than other people just become emo or camwhore and earn your medals fair and square. If you don’t then accept the fact that re-res are just the cripple mode of forumwarz : beings that should not be alive but were somehow brought up until adulthood by an overly kind society.
Cripples and re-res should be punished for their very existence, not exalted in any way. If you need razorblades to help in the clbum changing process, just look up in your daily delivery. (view post) |

Re-re consideration for speedrun scoops?I connect from France and never had any problem grabbing yummy lemon sherbet and vanilla scoops. If you’re having problems it’s more probably because: – you connect at times the server is overloaded – your connexion/ISP sucks to begin with – you’re a Troll and your stats don’t allow much fancy kung-fu combos (lulz, you even have to fap to get an acceptable offense level) (view post) |

Episode 2: Would you Pay?Keeping the game free and selling stuff besides does sound like the better alternative, I would definitely buy a shirt or a coffe mug (where better to put tasty vanilla scoops ?) as I can wear/use them, but paying for playing the game after episode 1 would be a definite no for me. Even more if episode 2 is as short as ep.1. With 10 days (at most) to finish it, a 10 bucks subscription would put the fun at one dollar a day.
Out of curiosity (and to give ET some ideas for the future), what forumwarz related items would you be ready to buy ? (while writing this I just realized that there would be plenty of fun merchandise to make from the useless junk items Log in to see images! (view post) |

Also, tweaking the game in favor of any clbum would be a mistake, because you have to keep a balance and common grounds for everyone if you want to be able to add new clbumes. (view post) |

If I come back in a couple of months and find that Episode 2 is out I’ll play it if it’s free, not if I have to pay for a game that I had forgotten for some time and just came to check out. (especially when it only takes a little over a week to complete episode 1, even 1 month is a loooooong time to keep up with waiting for another episode that may or may not last as long)
Of course forumbuildr, domination and flamebate are fun, but even those won’t justify the wait if nothing new comes out for some time.
My point in short: Whatever decisions are made for episode 2, make them now and make the announcement now so that people can stay interested in the game and look forward to the features/episodes to come. Even if there are a few changes when episode 2 is actually released the players will be there and waiting, which surely will not happen if nothing moves for x months and the announcements are made right at the time of release. Episode 2: Would you Pay?Whatever happened to episode 2 anyways…
Not that I mean to rush anything, but although the domination thing is a great way to wait for some real news the first players will get bored eventually and leave the place for some other new fancy site – I count myself in the lot – and forumwarz will have been no more than a short fad.
We all know that most internet roamers have the patience and the attention span of a 2 year old : “give me my candy or I’ll find some elsewhere”.
That’s not the nicest way to put it, and it doesn’t make things easier for the team who’s putting hard work just to hold the game as it is now, but it is true nevertheless.
Like many others I would gladly pay a one time fee to access the game after episode one, now. I don’t know if I’ll still be that willing after 2-3 months of nothing to do but pwn always the same forums and losing at the domination game.
I’m gonna cut off bith my arms for saying things like this, but there you have it : Caturday is drawing near, you only have to make sure that the right feline wins. Log in to see images! (view post) |

Episode 2: Would you Pay?Same here, a shirt I would definitely buy, a fee I would not pay.
Just an idea here though, but maybe an intermediary one time subscription, like 5~10 bucks paid once and for all for some extra features (multiple accounts, 8 daily forum visits instead of 4 …Log in to see images! would be ok for me.
Also, I really appreciate the game as it is, with little ads and a lot of game space, but I don’t think anyone would mind a little more ads somewhere on the screen.
