Letter from his mom:

“I don’t know if you knew Travis very well but I see you’ve talked to him so I should let you know what happened. I’m Travis’s mom and I’m making rounds telling Travis’s friends that my son is no longer with us. Travis was a very kind and good boy, no matter how he acted sometimes it’s just that he wasn’t the most stable. He wasn’t good at handling his problems and he always pushed everyone away… We wish him the best, and we miss him so much, but I thought I should help get the word out to some of the people who might not have heard.
