What Bacchus meant to say was that in spite of the ridiculous, not at all part of the actual mythology, so why the **** did they need to put that **** in there for 15 minutes worth of movie, dancing girls – very decent representation of Cap.

And a nice story to be added to the overall arc building towards The Avengers.

The girl were not necessarily part of the mythology but cap was used in USO shows before they realized he could fight in continuity.
