A couple of months ago one of my wiener dogs had a small litter. Just two puppies, gave one away and kept the other. The oldest dog I have is some sort of mutt and I love her so much, but she startles easily and snaps at you if you wake her up suddenly. Now the one I kept liked to sleep in my bed and I didn’t have a problem with that, until one morning when she peed in my bed. I let her out of my room and she woke up the other dog who proceeded to maul her with a single bite to the head. As I was on my way to have her put down she crapped herself in my arms and seemed to be in a great deal of pain but could only move her paws a little.
