I try to avoid officers.. Half of them get mad because they don’t want to return your salute and the other half get mad because you don’t salute them fast enough. One was running to his car while it was snowing and he saw me walking up and I could see the terror in his eyes and I sped up a bit till I was in saluting distance and saluted him and he had to stop and salute back and it was cold and windy and snowy and I felt bad but then it was kinda empowering stopping him and stuff but I still felt bad because he didn’t have gloves on
