Most retail stores don’t even keep stock of PC games anymore. I had to go to a Fry’s Electronics to get TF2.

I think the big advantage for Steam is Valve can have special game promotions like Free Portal or $.25 Half-Life 2, but that hardly hurts retailers of other games.

­I honestly think that most game companies should go through steam, not just because of the security of it, but you can take it pretty much anywhere, and it’s easy to join the games your friends are playing. It’s a great system.
