How many different mods have there been, who are they, and why aren’t they a mod anymore?

IDC stands for Internet Delay Chat.

Previous Mods include dobnits, Escher, MC Banhammer, PhineasPoe, scully & TUBSWEETIE.

Each of the previous Mods relinquished their positions voluntarily, for personal reasons.
