The cost of upgrading a graphics card is less than buying a new console (unless you’re a bleeding-edge obsessive) and you’d probably need to do so with about the same frequency. If you would want to have a semi-decent computer for general use anyway, then the cost of occasional upgrades isn’t prohibitive.

The cost of games is probably the more important thing… and I’m kinda out of the loop so I couldn’t say whether console or PC games are more expensive. PC’s got easy piracy going for it though Log in to see images!
