It’s not really a penalty, just a bonus for the people who waited to challenge him (but you know everyone who plays Episode III later will get it). Frankly, I’m a bit embarrbumed because as a “challenge clbum” I ducked out of the challenge, but since everyone is racing to beat the game for the limited time quests I can make a few weak-arse excuses for myself.
