As the wind slices through the air

My mind fills with sorrow

She left me tonight, with only a note

With only a note.

This note, I haven’t read it yet

The edges of the paper slice into my thigh

In my mind, I love it, but why does it hurt

But wait, hurt is the goal

Hurt relieves hurt, pain relieves pain

I reach into my pocket to grab the note

When I touch it, the tip of my finger screams in pain

I resist, resist all the pain

My fingers curl around the sharp paper

Squeezing, squeezing as hard as can be

I cannot let it go

Ripping my hand from my pocket I extract the note

My palm bleeds from the sharp edges

I unfold it, gently straightening every crease

The words almost make me choke:

Thrashing woman's genitals,

You’re a ****ing emo kid. Go rot in hell with your pile of bloody razor blades. Kthxbye.
