Both from the standpoint of wanting things to even up a bit, and because it would make using the consumable in the first place feel justified. As it is, we never know whether or not we just wasted the consumable; whether we would have been hit with something if we’d not used it, but if we could see the attacks being used and blocked then it’d all seem more worthwhile.
