A junk item is not as gamebreaking as Master Balls or items that are better than the current BIS.

Basically, there’s no real grounds for complaint. If an item was worse than existing items, people ****ed that it was useless, and if it was better than existing items, it was game-breaking. There was no way to generate an item that wouldn’t either lead to stat inflation or be uninteresting to the higher level players… so, junk. All the fun of thinking up names, none of the constraints, and no worries about whether it’s just like an existing item. Plus, it might add a reason to check your deliveries individually again.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
