I think it much more depends on your vote total (add the value of your entries that are in the positive to your -5s), and if you are in the negative, as many of us were this past week, your buildr score goes down. Shii’s explanation of what works doesn’t jibe with my experience, honestly.

ditto. My experience says that it’s essentially proportional to your upvotes minus your downvotes. As long as your overall balance is in the positive at the end of the week, you’ll be fine.
