Depends on how ET’s “crossbreeding” algorithm works. If it can crossbreed equipment of different types, it could lead to a much more interesting range of equipment. Imagine a Prune laptop that gave Sexiness, or an Alienwhore gaming rig that grants Processing Power. You might end up with choices beyond “Upgrade to the next ego step”, at least, and perhaps there would eventually be a computer even endgame users would prefer to the existing server.

I hope this will come about, but I’m guessing we’ll have to wade through months of crap to get to anything decent and/or original.
