I will bumume you mean Train A is heading Southwest, and Train B is heading Northeast. And there is a magical track that goes from Chicago, IL to Las Vegas, NV in a straight line.

I will also bumume that each train left at the times stated, per their own time zones.

In that case the distance between the two cities (measured from their coordinates) is 1518.54 miles.

Train B departs 4 hours after Train A after factoring in time zones. By the time Train B departs, the two trains are only 798.54 miles apart.

The two trains will collide 7 hours 9 minutes and 24 seconds after Train A departs, or just 3:09:24 after Train B departs.

At a rate of 73mph, Train B would be 230.4 miles NE of Las Vegas.

The collision would occur at 7:09:24 PM Mountain Time, somewhere near the center of Utah.
