While I agree this can be annoying, I am of the opinion you should just bid the maximum you are willing to pay for an item. If the snipe bid is lower than that, you still win the auction (and you get the remainder of your Flezz back). If you lose, don’t complain because someone was willing to shell out more than you.

This. And the fact that online auctions don’t extend their bidding time just because of snipers.
