Yeh, I’ve gotten Alpha twice, but typically Grayson steals it. I’d love to know his technique; not cuz I can’t get lots of submissions myself but just out of curiosity.

My technique is simple – I submit rather a lot of thread titles, angry replies and typical posts. I then watch as all of the ones I genuinely thought were funny get downvoted while the rubbish ones I submitted just to make up the numbers get upvoted.

Some weeks, just to mix things up a bit, I submit a whole load of enemies and a couple of forum ideas. The forum ideas then get to -5 in a couple of hours while the enemy ideas usually take a whole week to reach that level.

This technique has led to my getting a +2 increase to my buildr score 25 weeks in a row, which leads me to belive that getting the top possible increase should be made rather a lot harder.
