** JANE’S NEW ‘TOY’ **

Jane and Mommy walk in the store. It is a special store. Look what Jane sees on the wall. “Oh Mommy! Look at this toy. It is a good toy! It will make me feel good!”

“No!” says Mommy. “It is too big for you. It will not make you feel good. It will hurt you.”

Look what Jane found. “Look Mommy look! I want this toy! It will make me feel good!”

“No!” says Mommy. “That toy is still too big for you. It will hurt you.”

Jane looks and looks. Oh, oh! See what Jane has found? “Look Mommy, look! This toy is not too big. It is just my size. I want this toy Mommy! I want to take it home and put it in me! This toy will not hurt. This toy will make me feel good!

“Yes,” says Mommy. “That toy will not hurt. It will make you feel good! You may have that toy!”

Jane and Sally are good friends… VERY good friends. Sally has come over to play with Jane. “You look very pretty, Sally,” says Jane.

“No Jane,” says Sally. “I do not want to play hopscotch.”

“Oh dear,” says Jane. “You do not want to jump rope. You do not want to play ball. You do not want to play hopscotch. What do you want to play?”

“I want to play a fun game,” says Sally. “I want to play with you.” Sally leads Jane under the monkey bars. Now she lifts up Jane’s dress. See how she lies on top of Jane?
