The difference is those are working on a highly stable wiki structure. The one here, unless I’m mistaken, was written by ET. It may not be designed to handle dozens of simul-edits.

Also, they don’t have an actual objective incentive to overwrite someone else’s edit. You think edit wars are bad when it’s just about the article? Now add a reward for “good edits.”
