Not to poo-poo this idea, but why not just make this a thread about “hey, these articles are badly out of date and need updating” or something? Because I know there are several articles that need an update; the dom articles, for example, or the Forumwarz IRL Camwhores article.

Agreed. I think this contest could be broader. Like: rewrite an article you find outdated, post it here (in format or not) and CZ will pick the best 10 or something.

This will only result in, indeed, an editing war, not to mention a lot of frustration when people start editing **** you were working on for a while.
