Ingredients:
4 cups of granulated sugar. 4 oz of 80 proof Jack Daniels No. 7 12 oz of Hunt’s Ketchup 6 oz of Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce 4 oz of simmered beef fat. 1/4 cup Soy Sauce 2 tbsp White Vinegar ——————————————— Method
In a 12 inch saucepan simmer down 4 ounces of beef fat and stir in the sugar, allow to caramelize and glaze. Stir in ketchup and hot sauce and allow to simmer for ten minutes before adding the Jack Daniels and the Vinegar. Add the soy sauce last and then remove from heat while stirring.
Great for use with pulled pork, burgers, or just about anything else you would eat with BBQ sauce. |
