I think it’d be better if the keyboard short-cut for returning to the list of threads was Backspace and the short-cut to find a new thread to pwn was Enter, because that takes less time. :>

Also: The javascript alerts really disrupt the battle flow if you press a bumon a second too early. Perhaps something less disruptive, like a bar appearing over the toolbar saying “you can’t do that” or just a red X being drawn over the option.

I like the red X idea. It would be present when the key is being pressed, so it would flash and get your attention.
