Tail of the Sun for the original Playstation. You play a caveman and your goal is to make a tower to the sun out of mammoth tusks. To do that you have to roam the world and try to find mammoth. There’s not a lot to do in the game, but I got a lot of mileage out of running around and killing animals with my stick, then dieing and letting someone else in my tribe go out in the world.

Psychonauts (PS2) isn’t bad either. It’s a platformer about a summer camp for psychics who do battle inside people’s heads. It has some pretty funny moments.
