technically they did already do something about minrepair, or rather the “rental” method that people were using to repair it. (which was the clear exploit, as it stands now people have to sacrifice gambling, and the time inbetween runs to repair the thing – a nuisance but still a dowside)

perhaps the fix should target only expensive items, such that it doesn’t hurt newbies. make it so items over a certain dollar amount have to be repaired in full, or to 50% or something.
