Well, ****.
We recorded over 2 hours of audio today and then found out my steam was totally garbled Log in to see images!
I doubt it’s recoverable. We will probably have to re-record the podcast in a little while once we’ve gotten our energy back. |

We did. Everything was fine. Somehow only Trout’s **** ended up with some weird reverb at random times. I believe it’s because he uses a Mac and Macs are fabulous person.
I’m gonna try to clean up the audio and see if it can be salvaged. Might still sound fabulous person though. |

We’re going to quietly post some of the salvageable bits of podcast in this fail-bum thread.
The first clip you’ll hear should explain why we had to scrap it; for some reason Trout’s audio became echoey and crunchy during the recording process — like the voice of some kind of Satanic fish. We’re just getting started at this point:

In the second clip we’ve come back after a break. Restarting the record gave us a grace period of 20 minutes, but it’s still got an annoying echo. It started becoming unlistenable — mercifully enough — right before a stretch of questions we defined as “Evil Trout questions.” Here we talk E-Peen, Kingdom of Loathing and “why our website sucks.”

The final clip is probably the best-sounding. For no real reason, Trout’s audio started to get less fux0rnated for about 10 minutes. This part is all about Episode 2, so that’s kinda cool. Right?

Yeah, I was debating whether or not to keep the last bit, but it would’ve been even more suspicious if it ended earlier. At least I kept out your proposed “75 bucks a day” scheme.
