It’s lagging, so I decide to come back and try speedrunning again in an hour. An hour later it’s still lagging. So another hour later, it’s lagging even worse.

It seems to go in 3-5 minute waves so I’d bumume that Incit is causing a good deal of the lag particularly when it’s presenting submissions and tallying votes.

Basically at this point in time I’ve quit even trying to speedrun most forums as it’s entirely possible you will get a few timeouts in any long forum run.

It’s lagging even for Gambling roflmao.

With the lag you can’t earn lemon sherbet scoops reliably, making domination, and competing for speedrun times, near impossible. Which means that there’s no point to running forums once you’re level 10, or at least not one that’s worth taking 5-10 minutes per run for.

I mean, it’s not actually unplayable. It’s just there’s a lot less reason to pwn forums than there would be otherwise.

I’m not usually one to complain, but since I didn’t see a single other thread about it I thought the issue deserved at least some acknowledgment. Mostly so I know it’s not just me.

It’s not just speedrunning that suffers. I actively dislike spending visits now, because it’s such a pain in the bum to spend forty minutes a day thanks to lag. Raiding in the major clans has pretty much dropped off because of lag as well.

Same here. I don’t think I’ve used a single visit on my multis since INCIT rolled out.. the lag has been so unbearable for me since then that it’s a chore just to do 4 a day.

Ha, it took two refreshes and about 3 minutes for your post to load, not including the 2minutes it took for the Flamebate section to load. So yeah, it sucks.

Seriously, I don’t know why it’s a lagging. I use cable and I’m not sure if you are on dial-up. The earliest I’m on is 10 am EST. But usually do may gaming around 4pm EST unless I’m busy. It’s not really high powered computer (1.18 ghz and 2 gig RAM). Maybe you have too many programs running?

I don’t think that’s it, usually I just have Firefox and iTunes running. Plus this is the only site where I notice significant lag. But it’s strange that some people aren’t noticing it.
