Questions, questions. Escher, you don’t have to answer if you don’t want, since you’re partly management.
Are these unique threads set up as traps? Or can a regular thread be booby trapped? In other words, if I was setting traps, would I have to start a new thread, or could I post the exploit to another thread and let hilarity ensue?
bumuming it’s only NEW threads, it should be possible to avoid the trap by reading only old threads.

The problem’s been fixed; it was that certain people MySpace Tom, like you couldn’t have guessed figured out how to make it so that images in posts and sigs also ran small scripts, like the kick-you-out-of-your-klan script. (Warning: I am not a programmer, I’m just a mod, take my description of the actual facts with a huge grain of salt.) So any threads that had been responded to with the fuxxored images would screw you.
This is now fixed, so don’t worry about it. |

Just an opinion, but I don’t think so. When I was trying to see what exactly would get me booted from klan for bug reporting, I tested threads started by different users at different times and only certain threads seemed to do the trick. One poster in common on the threads, seemed to be the link. Something to do with the sig line I’m guessing since it didn’t happen in the sig disabled threads.
