Should forum submissions be reset each week?

As it stands it is easy to tell what the next 2 forums will be and probably what the 3rd will be. Because the top submissions have 100+ votes. There is no chance for a new submission to chosen anytime soon. I think forum ideas should be reset just like everything else to give new ideas a chance. If something has 100+ votes now and people like it next week then it should have no problem winning anyway. |

thing is, just because it rode the second and third place spots one week, doesn’t mean it gets in next week. lok at alchoholics unanimous. its sat in 2nd and 3rd before, only to get displaced by stuff like “HowStuffBreaks” |

I’m definately less inclined to read the new forum ideas when there are leaders in the 100’s. Perhaps saving the successful Ideas and requiring the submitter to actively click a bumon to re-post it, using a submission would be better naw I don’t see If it would make a difference…
Just submit your ideas at the beginning of the week. That will give them a chance of getting noticed. |
