Omg I have a Halo: Reach story it’s pretty awesome.

I had never played on a 360 and I had never played a Halo game. I was at the BFs house and his brothers were playing Halo Reach. Then I was like “Hey can I play?” and they were like “sure” and then I did better them on a stage about 3/4 through the campaign.

Not sure what this says about Halo in general but either I am da bomb at FPS’s I’ve never played on systems I’ve never played (omg secret talent boo yeah) or the game is ****ing easy. IDK which.

u do know that points during a coop campaign basically says nothing ?

The story IMHO is very good.

Play all of the Halos, then play Reach.

Playing in single player only you’d have been missing out. Playing with bots vs playing with people… really doesn’t compare well. I like VS mode, because playing as zombies is cool, but even if that’s not your thing then for the love of something, play a co-op campaign.

Sure, if you’re playing with the unwashed public then you inevitably get some random douchebags, but they really do seem to be in the minority. Most of the time you’ll get a decent game out of a random group, and if you know the people outside of the game then all the better.

L4D2 adds more weapons, more maps, more special infected (designed to fix some of the “cheap” survivor tactics), and is generally a lot of fun… and there’s also the fact that the number of people playing the original is declining while there are still plenty of people to find a random game with in L4D2.

also i love halo. i have more fond memories playing that with friends than i do a lot of games. But left 4 dead is a much better game because of the ai director(im comparing only campaign). If we are comparing versus to halo’s multiplayer? if im with friends either way ill take either one. if im not with friends id rather play halo.

To be fair, I only played Left 4 Dead at a buddy’s house on his console, he didn’t have reliable internet or a second controller. After about 45 min I said, ‘**** this’ and smoked a bowl. I’ll probably end up getting the package deal since it’s only ten and some change. I should give it a day, though, so I can get reasonable bandwidth on download.

TF2s source engine is ancieeennnt.

L4D2s and L4D1 source engine uses the GPU and CPU equally I think while TF2 uses mainly the CPU.

Not to mention TF2 has a billion horribly optimized patches tacked onto it.

yeah but the halo’s story is so ****ed up if you dont even read the books whats the point if you are doing it for story. do it for the expeirence of the campaign.
