No Seriously, tell me what to do.
Can’t go outside, can’t play video games, can’t really sleep, can’t even get visits without coughing on their face. Life sucks, I just want to go to the Octoberfest and drink beer while I try to figure out a way (I’m going this Saturday, so **** you ! (and if no this saturday then next saturday (if we get enough people (****yeah!)))) This is for Feverdreams: (**** yeah! TV? Or does “no video games” imply “no moving images on a glowing box” generally?
Develop a love of knitting. Play endless games of Solitaire with a deck of actual cards. Write a novel. Torment a small animal and/or child.
Or I guess you could accept the fact that being ill sucks major amounts of bum and do whatever to try and shorten it… drink plenty of fluids, rest as much as you can (even if you can’t sleep, don’t do anything active), that kind of thing. |

SOLIDARITY BROTHER! I have meningitis! We’re like twins!
The first couple of days when I couldn’t really move I put a couple of audio books on an mp3 player and tried to listen to those when I would drift into consciousness. Now that my head isn’t exploding as hard I either lay on the couch and watch movies or take a lot of vicodin and try to do stuff and then laugh at myself when I can’t actually do the stuff.
