GSC generation was the best ever. You didn’t need much to succeed and you didn’t have to delve that much in math to play it professionally.

I took a long break from pokemon after I’ve played Silver, then I recently picked up SoulSilver because I wanted to feel the nostalgia from the old games.

Well, uhm, things changed.

I think 251 was the perfect number

The addition of Steel/Dark types was good and everything.

I miss people spamming Skarmbliss.

and anyone who used to play netbattle should download shoddy battle. much better and very active

RBY was mathematical, people just forgot about that since you could missigno. glitch your way to lv100, and not care about using Stat-Enhancing items to increase everything.

GSC EVs and Egg Moves were the best thing to happen to Pokémon. Added that sweet mathematical touch without overkilling the game. Ru/Sa with traits and everything killed it for me.

I did play a bit of the Ru/Sa generation but I just wasn’t too happy about it.

Ah, Netbattle, how I miss thee. And Fanha’s GSBots (if you know what I’m talking about, grats, you’re a Pokémon oldfabulous person!).

its funny im getting back into my old pokemon group. most of my close friends on the site(people i helped get started) are mods now. The biggest fabulous person mod ever is banned. and the mods i dont know are all pretty cool it seems.
