Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale | |||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Game that has been out for awhile in Japan, but apparently a couple people from SA are translating it and releasing it.
I thought I’d try the demo, not expecting much. But holy damn, this game is good.
Basically girls father has tons of debt, and went missing. Up to girl to pay off debt. She has to turn house into shop to get money to pay off the debt.
A shop simulation is not all it is though, it’s also part roguelike where the girl can adventure with someone into a dungeon for more items.
At least give it a shot in some free time. http://store.steampowered.com/app/70400
Or if you don’t have steam

Well, it probably got around a lot of places.
I found out about it on /v/, where it seems to be the flavor of the week. |

TBH, this game would be 10x better as a DS game.
Hopefully this doing so good, they will translate some other hidden gems. CrinkzPipe edited this message on 09/04/2010 12:40AM |
