It’s not boring at all. It’s a reinterpretation of 120 Days of Sodom set in WWII fascist Italy. And the gore factor is of epic proportions. It’s psychologically disturbing, carries a shocking level of historical realism, and questions just about every modern moral standard we have. It makes you uncomfortable, sure, but it’s definitely worth watching. |

Trainspotting – love it with all my heart. Mulholland Dr – do NOT try to understand anything from it. Just enjoy it. Fight Club – I bumume you’ve seen it, dunno why it hasn’t been mentioned yet though. Ils (They) – dunno if you can find a torrent for it, it’s pretty much unknown, but it’s amazing. Lat den ratte komma in (Let the right one in) – the original, on which the upcoming Let Me In is based. Much more awesome than the remake, mostly because that eerie old Sweden. Empire Records – again, another one you’ve probably seen. But it can’t be missed. Pathology – really dark, and really cool.
Also points to FAIL for mentioning The Killing Room. It’s GREAT. More to come. |
