Back in the old days before Torrents, I had to get my music via p2p. Some of you may remember waiting for music to download only to wonder what the hell song you were actually listening to because it sure as **** isn’t what you ordered. (Same thing happened with porn. It was like playing Russian Roulette with your eyes, but that’s another story)

In these days I would often download everything from an artist, find out a few are from someone else but still good and try to get more from them once I find out who they actually are. But one song has eluded me for years… Worse yet, it’s only part of the song so I can’t just call it quits and be happy with that.

THIS IS WHERE YOU GUYS COME IN!!!

The first person to tell me what the hell this song is gets 50Log in to see images!. I have to be able to confirm it by finding it myself or being sent a link, but it’s been bugging me for many a year…

All I know is that I found it under Scott Peeples – Sunrise (Dreamer’s Mix) and I looked for everything under Scott Peeples, sunrise and Dreamer’s mix and not only have I not found it, I could never find the same portion of a song again!

Ask me about how many male reproductive organs in my bum :zak:

can you upload it somewhere else? i can’t download it…

I found this Scott Peeples which seems like a very likely artist behind that piece. He remixes a lot of songs to make instrumental pieces, some of them very similar to what you posted. He mentions in one of his entries on that site that he lost some work due to computer problems, perhaps he never even got to use that commercially before losing it or something. As for what he remixed it from, you’re going to have to ask him. I suppose I could see it being a loose interpretation of the Uriah Heep song, or maybe he just made that song for a sunrise scene in some video game as that seems to be a large part of his work.

Personally, I’m convinced that’s his work. Being so unknown I can see how a piece could literally disappear without evidence on the internet. I’m going to let you be the one to e-mail him.

Chrome wouldn’t do it for me, but Firefox would. I don’t know why.

I’ve had some issues with gdocs and chrome. Maybe the departments are fighting over the coffee machine, or something.

God damnit. I started at the top and gave up after a couple tries. “Beginnings” should have been an obvious place to look. The word sunrise isn’t used once on the damn site. http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=site:www.scottpeeples.com/+sunrise

Edit: It’s not the same music, though.

I did a quick search, and it told me that the song is most likely a remix of ‘Just saying’ by Animals on Wheels. I listened to some of their music on myspace, and it sounds similar.

That looks to be a remix of the song I’m looking for, but not as good as the original. I looked through all his stuff 8-10 years ago when I first found the song and saw no sign of it then… Progress?

Rapidshare perhaps?

BP sent and Bacchus was right, he did lose that song in particular and it was a remix of another of his songs though it was never finished. Thanks for helping me to solve this mystery Log in to see images!
