I’d say that season 3 is where the Telltale Series is really starting to shine. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Season One and Two, but there were several instances where the jokes just fell flat. The hit/miss ratio is much higher in Season 3, plus the story is actually compelling. In previous Seasons, the story was just a thin excuse for our heroes to get into wacky hijinks.
Out of interest, did you like Tales of Monkey Island? The tone of the two games are very similar.

Yes. I am a fan of the Monkey Island series, inculding the latest entry in the series by Telltale Games.
However, with the Sam and Max series, I expect quirky adventures of the Freelance Police. Not some Space Opera. Log in to see images!
