The thread was made in GRP “where it’s cool to post swastikas GOD WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM GUYS YOU CAN POST SWASTIKAS IN GRP” (actual mod quote) and happened to contain ET’s name. Is the rule now “you can post whatever you want, including swastikas, on the RP side of the board, unless it’s deemed that you can’t”

Not so much. It’s been moved, but we’ll get around to discussing at some point.

I’ve seen the number of unread posts go up from 3 to 4 to 5 with a different mod under “last post by” so yeah you are discussing it.

Yes, two mod posts. The first, stating that the mod was moving it to where it is now, and the second saying they agreed with the move, and we’d talk about it later.

RRoD is a pretty common occurrence as I remember, strange you would use it as an example when the sentiment you want to convey is more along the lines of “a very long time to never”.

Personally I think it was worth a ban, but on the other hand I don’t give a ****. It’s not like that post would have ever been a successful google bomb.

I guess I care more because other mods/admins might mind if the same thing was done to them.

I don’t play a lot of X-Box, period. I have two friends that play, and I only ever play when I’m hanging out with them. They’ve never had issues with their systems. I know that the RRoD basically turns it into a brick, but I didn’t realize it’s such a common occurrence. Granted, based on MS’s performance in general, I shouldn’t be surprised.

It’s pretty common. Everyone I know who bought one early on (myself included) got it eventually. Mine happened after 3.5 years.
