instead of your little mod idol contests, here’s what i propose: once every 3 months, have a poll for each mod and see if the community wants to keep him on or not. if the poll decides to boot him, then have people sign up for the free spot, you choose the top 10 applicants and let the community decide. hows that for a democracy?

Fill the open moderator position with whichever applicant got the least votes. Problem solved.

Perhaps I wasn’t that clear in my thread. I mean it was like a whole load of ideas put into one thread which wasn’t really organised at all so I could probably understand why people wouldn’t see it there

i apologize. i now realize the full extent of what i had previously stated and am deeply ashamed. it was not my intention to hint that the moderators are not people and i will be using the pronoun “they” to refer to any moderator, be it male or female, singular or plural.

They’re not that bad it’s just that whenever one of them actually does their job and bans a popular member for actually breaking a rule everyone gets ****y. Although I still don’t really get why we can’t say the n-word on this side of the board. It’s not like we’re going to offend anyone that wasn’t already offended by the rest of the content on this site.
