Since neither of those characters ever appeared in the ‘60s Batman series (IIRC), it makes sense that they wouldn’t appear in the parody.

That occurred to me, but as long as were taking artistic liberties with the source materiel they never ****ed each other either.

I had to go Google this, and found, among other things, that there appearently IS a segment in this movie that pays homage to the animated WB series from the 1990´s (Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn et all).
Ron Jeremy, in facial phrostetics, plays the “darker” version of the Joker in those shots.

Or, in other words, this appears to be such a fan-geeky movie that some people are probably gonna watch it all the way to the end, without tissue.
